An apricot glaze is a special way to serve ham, turkey, duck, goose, roast beef and steaks, and as a condiment on sandwiches and appetizers.
For an elegant affair, consider an apricot glaze. It’s unique but oh-so-easy to do.
- ½ c brown sugar
- 1 tsp cornstarch
- ½ tsp ground ginger
- 1 c apricot nectar, canned
- In saucepan, mix brown sugar, cornstarch and ginger. Stir in apricot nectar. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens and boils.
- Brush on meat and cook as planned.
