If you’ve already transitioned to a plant-based diet, you’ll be happy that today is National Veggie Burger Day. If you haven’t tried one yet, today’s the day! (We have recipes.)
How National Veggie Burger Day started.
Amy’s, an organic and vegetarian food company, founded National Veggie Burger Day in 2017 in hopes that everyone would eat a veggie burger and it would have a positive impact on the planet for that one day – and maybe more to come after newbies tried it.
Check out their website today – they have a very interesting history – and find their coupon to make it even easier to try a veggie burger. They have lots of yummy vegetarian recipes, too, if you want to go further with your plant-based diet experiment.
Of course, today’s the day to have a veggie burger.
There has been a huge surge in people interested in veggie burgers, so you can buy one at any restaurant. But why not make your own? Here a few veggie burger recipes.
Don’t forget to post a pic on social media with the official hashtag #VeggieBurgerDay
