July 4th is full of food, fun and sunshine, which means we need to keep hydrated so we’re not tired and cranky.
Here is festive red, white and blue fruit-infused water that’s tasty but low-cal compared to soda & beer.
You can keep it simple, or add a more festive feel with stars!

How to Use a Melon Baller
Red, White & Blue Fruit Infused Water for July 4th

Keep hydrated on July 4th with this patriotic fruit-infused water recipe.
- 2 c watermelon balls
- 1 c blueberries
- 1 fuji apple, peeled
- 5 c water
- ¼ c orange juice
- mint leaves to garnish (optional)
Make apple stars. Stand peeled apple on cutting board. Slice apple on each side of the core. Use a star cookie cutter to make star shape. Lay apple stars in shallow pan and pour orange juice over. Let soak for about 10 minutes to keep from browning.
Cut watermelon in half lengthwise and make watermelon balls.
